How often it updates
Apple Calendar usually picks up changes within a few hours, and lets you choose how often it checks. Google is slower and decides for itself, often somewhere between eight and twenty-four hours, and there is no way to make it hurry. So if we cancel something tonight, give it until tomorrow before you trust what your calendar says. The dates on this site are always right now.
Downloading instead
The download button gives you a file with the next few months in it. It is a snapshot: it will not update, so a night that later moves or gets cancelled will still be sitting in your calendar looking real. Subscribe if you can.
